Dylan H. Smith is an associate at Lott & Fischer. Mr. Smith graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Physics. He earned his law degree at the University of Florida Levin College of Law with a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law.
While in law school, Mr. Smith interned for the Department of Commerce at the US Patent and Trademark Office, where he worked in Governmental Affairs. Through this position, he became familiar with the workings of the USPTO, leading him to have a great interest in Intellectual Property Law. This led him to earn Masters in Law (LLM) from the George Washington University Law School in Intellectual Property Law.
Prior to joining Lott & Fischer, Mr. Smith worked as an Assistant State Attorney for the 8th Judicial Circuit, giving him years of experience in litigating complex cases. He has tried over 30 jury trials, multiple bench trials, and argued at multiple hearings. Mr. Smith is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida.
