George Sciarrino is an associate at Lott & Fischer. His practice focuses on U.S. and international intellectual property law.

He handles copyright, domain name, trademark, and trade secret matters involving acquisitions, agreements, anti-counterfeiting, clearance, enforcement, and prosecution. He counsels clients on contested proceedings before foreign tribunals, U.S. federal and state courts, and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. He advises individuals and businesses from startups to Fortune 500 companies; in various industries, including art, entertainment, fashion, financial services, food and beverage, hospitality, media, professional sports, and technology.

Mr. Sciarrino graduated from Rollins College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts and from Parsons School of Design with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Fashion Design. He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from New York Law School, where he was a member of Law Review. He was also a member of the John Marshall Harlan Scholars honors program and an affiliate with the Institute for Information Law and Policy (now known as Innovation Center for Law and Technology). He utilizes his art and fashion background to tailor bespoke legal services related to brands, creative works, designs, e-commerce, licenses, and logos.

Prior to joining Lott & Fischer, he worked in New York law firms specializing in intellectual property. He has been acknowledged by Super Lawyers® as a “top-rated attorney” and selected to its Rising Stars in Intellectual Property list since 2017. He is an internationally recognized author and lecturer. He co-authored the article The Designer Formerly Known As… Intellectual Property Issues Arising From Personal Names As Fashion Brands, which was introduced in casebook The Business and Law of Fashion and Retail as “the leading article on eponymous brands in fashion…”

He is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the State of New Jersey, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern District and Southern District of New York. Outside of his practice, he is committed to community involvement and enjoys creating art, cycling, and traveling with friends and family.
