Lott & Fischer Partner Among Faculty at Third Annual Naples Midwinter Patent Experts Conference

(CORAL GABLES, January 25, 2015) Lott & Fischer partner, Ury Fischer, is honored to be among the faculty of the 2015 Third Annual Midwinter Patent Experts Conference held in Naples, Florida on February 9-10, 2015. Mr. Fischer is participating in interactive discussions and presentations focused on recent and pending Supreme Court patent law decisions, upcoming legislative activity, and issues of international law, among others. The Naples Conference, sponsored by the University of Akron School of Law, has become an essential annual event for those interested in patent policy in the United States and abroad.

Mr. Fischer, who is Board Certified in Intellectual Property Law, is Vice-Chairman of The Florida Bar Intellectual Property Certification Committee, and leads Lott & Fischer’s litigation and patent prosecution department. He has over 15 years of experience intellectual property law, successfully litigating patent infringement cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.  He also litigates trademark, copyright, trade secret, false advertising and unfair competition cases. He regularly renders opinions on patent validity, enforcement and infringement and provides strategic advice to companies on the development and management of their intellectual property portfolios internationally. Mr. Fischer has obtained patents for clients in diverse technology areas ranging from electrical and mechanical to the software and business method fields.
