Lott & Fischer Partner, Ury Fischer, To Speak at AIPLA’s 2015 Mid-Winter Institute in Orlando, Florida

(CORAL GABLES, January 25, 2015) Lott & Fischer partner, Ury Fischer, will speak at the 2015 American Intellectual Property Law Association Mid-Winter Institute to be held in Orlando, Florida on January 28-31, 2015. Mr. Fischer will lead a panel discussion entitled “License Negotiations with Foreign and Multinational Entities—Eliminating Bias for a Successful Outcome.” The panel includes other international intellectual property experts from Germany, Brazil and China.

Mr. Fischer, who is Board Certified in Intellectual Property Law, is Vice-Chairman of The Florida Bar Intellectual Property Certification Committee, and leads Lott & Fischer’s litigation and patent prosecution department. He has over 15 years of experience in virtually all aspects of intellectual property and has successfully litigated patent infringement cases, representing both plaintiffs and defendants, involving a wide variety of technologies. He has also litigated cases involving trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, false advertising and unfair competition. He regularly renders opinions relating to patent validity, enforcement and infringement and provides strategic advice to companies on the development and management of their intellectual property portfolios. Mr. Fischer has procured patents for clients in diverse technology areas including electrical, mechanical, software and business method fields.
