Javier Zambrano, who is bi-lingual in English and Spanish, has almost 30 years’ law office experience, including his work for many years as a paralegal responsible for collecting evidence, reporting to clients, preparing documents for filing and maintaining docketing and filing systems for a highly respected Miami family law practice. Mr. Zambrano joined Lott & Fischer in 2007, where he has served as a paralegal in the firm’s trademark, litigation and patent practice areas. His current duties as lead patent paralegal involve preparing supporting documentation and filing new patent applications in the United States and abroad, corresponding with the firm’s international network of patent counsel colleagues, maintaining the firm’s patent docketing system for relevant due dates in the prosecution and maintenance of patents and preparing reporting letters to clients throughout the patent process.

Trademark Paralegal
Prior to joining Lott & Fischer, Ms. Donna gained years of experience supporting a litigation team of partners and associates in a nation-wide firm with document production, motion practice, settlement agreements and assistance with trials and hearings for civil matters in State, Federal and Appellate courts. She began her career with Lott & Fischer as a litigation paralegal, but soon transitioned to intellectual property, specifically trademarks. Bringing her extensive litigation experience to bear on transactional matters, she has been responsible for maintaining the trademark docket, filing new applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, European Union Intellectual Property Office, and World Intellectual Property Office as well as the State of Florida and individual countries worldwide. Ms. Donna also maintains trademark registrations and communicates with clients and foreign associate counsel on trademark matters. Ms. Donna is bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
